Temora Traveller

Another recent finish was a shop sample.  Introducing the 'Temora Traveller'!  And talk about popular!  I took some to the Bridport Friendship Day (which was an awesome day) and sold out pretty fast!
Here is the key fob, which has a magnetic snap to attach it to the inside of the bag:

The applique section...

And all done! Here is the stitchery side:

And the applique side!

Here it is opened up....

I have the patterns available, which includes the 2 lace zips and spring clip.

Mesh bag

Another finish recently was a mag made using Pet Mesh from the hardware store.  This would be a perfect shopping or beach bag.  I even attached a clasp to attach your keys into the inside binding.  The bottom fabric section is all pockets.

Bonnie & Camille mini swap

Another swap I participated in on IG, was a Bonnie and Camille mini quilt.  Being a lover of all things B&C I really had to join in!  My partner loved, red navy and aqua, and Norway was one of her favourite patterns.  So this what I made for her!  I even quilted it on my long arm - and its only small!!  LOL

This is what I received, a variation on the Swoon block.  The quilting on this is wonderful!  I must get around to hanging it up in the classroom at the shop, the colours suit the room more.

Hugs n kisses swap

So, its been nearly 5 months since my last post!!  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  My NY's resolution was to blog more!!  Pfft!  Everytime I jumped on to do a post, blogger was playing up... I couldn't move pics, centre them and put my writing where I wanted!  So I gave up!  Instagram seemed so much quicker and easier.
After a little nudge from the lovely Jo, I decided to get back to it and have numerous 'draft' posts ready for me to edit!

Instead of starting where I left off, I really must show you a recent swap!  Our online group had a Hugs n Kisses swap, and I made for Sue. I made her a Vicky Victoria bag and added some H&K needles and pattern as well as a chockie!

And Helen made for me!  LOVE this gorgeous mini wallhanging.  Helen's stitching is just perfect!  She also included some cute ribbon and a box of scorched almonds - YUMMO!

I am not going to leave it so long for my next post!  I have had lots going on this past few years!

Hey there

BOO!  Remember me?! It has been SO long, yes I know.  But things have been crazy busy here.  Christmas is around the corner, and its going to get worse.  I am about to start working 6 days a week at the shop, but I am determined to still have time to stitch!
I have SO much to share, I don't know where to start.  I must get to loading some pics to blogger. And I have noticed Blogger has changed. I cant seem to manage to move pics anymore GRRR.
I've found these 2 mini's finished here a little while ago.  The top one, Butterflies made for me by my lovely friend Vicki.  Designed by Gail Pan, with Gail's fabrics too.  We have kits available at the shop.

This cute mini, made for me by my SIL Roseanne, is called Pears, also a Gail Pan pattern.  And, we have kits too.

Looks like I am on top of my gift sewing.  YAY!

2 in 1 Pouch

I had seen these 2 in 1 Pouches a lot over IG the last couple of months, and decided to give it a go.  I went with a Paris theme for this one, as I had decided to make one for someone, but changed my mind after it was done!

These were simple to make and quite quick too.

Secret Squirrel Stuff

With Christmas in just a few months, I am getting my list together for gift giving.  I always like to start nice and early, and have already purchased a few bits and bobs.  My 'handmade' Christmas list seems to be getting longer and longer, so I have made a start on some secret squirrel gifts.

Something blue for a William Morris fan:

A zipper and a pocket for a 'Secret Santa' Challenge I have going at the shop (we do accept mailed gifts, just so long they fit with the guidelines).  Please email or comment if you would like the details.
And another red and cream gift all done and dusted!
It feels really great to have some items marked off!
